Два года назад движок Quark  (версия-1.23) by Thomas Mayer, Germany  принадлежал к число середняков. Однако постепенно Quark усиливался от версии к версии. Например, рейтинг Quark 1.50, по Ю.Ляпко, составлял около 2300 единиц. Версия 2.05b более 2400 единиц! Последнюю версию движка Quark 2.35 мы еще не успели протестировать, но не сомневаемся, что новая публичная версия автора перешагнула рубеж 2500 единиц! Кроме того, автор предлагает новую большую дебютную библиотеку! (архив 14,5 mb).

Установка программы в оболочку Winboard

Установка программы во всех отношениях  является типовой и не должна вызвать сложностей. Командные строки в winboard.ini файле должны выглядеть следующим образом:

        "Quark" /fd=c:\WinBoard\Quark 

        "Quark" /sd=c:\WinBoard\Quark 

Для новой beta-версии управляющий файл - Quark.qbt, который  определяет параметры ее работы.
